The white blooms of Calsap have lovely dark accents inside the flowers to give off a distinct and noteworthy beauty. The foliage is hardy to an impressive -25°F when protected against windchill, yet graceful as it provides an ideal accent to the trusses. This mid-season bloomer does well in partial to full sun, has conical-shaped trusses and can grow to about 4' tall.
We encourage customers who like Sappho to check out Calsap, and also Sappho x Tweedy Bird, as the blooms are very similar. However, Calsap and Sappho x Tweedy Bird have a nicer foliage (we think) and a fuller growth habit. All three are fantastic!
