Calluna vulgaris 'County Wicklow' Heather

$26

County Wicklow Heather has special blossoms that put on a spectacular show. Its prolific bright buds, which adorn colorful crimson stems, open to incredible flowers loaded with light rosy pink pedals. Blooms generally show through summer and fall, depending on growing conditions.

This lovely little evergreen shrub has an attractive compact growth habit that reaches about 12" tall x 18" wide. It is an excellent choice for rock gardens, borders, ground cover, container growing, beds, and mass planting. You will want to be sure to place these beauties in well-draining soil.

County Wicklow is deer resistant, and drought tolerant once established. They do best in full sun, but can handle some shade. They are hardy to -30°F when protected against windchill. Bees love this plant, and so do we!
