$26

Lovely and aromatic, the foliage of Berggarten Garden Sage brings delight to herb gardens, landscapes, slopes and beds alike. It is also great for container growing and urban gardens. Light blue blossoms show in , and it has been known to attract hummingbirds! This great perennial has soft, round leaves with excellent texture, and an attractive blue-grey-green color mix. It is great for both ornamental and culinary uses, and it is a winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. Understandably so!

You will want to place this beauty in full sun, but it can tolerate a little shade. Afternoon shade is best in hot climates. Berggarten Garden Sage can grow to 2' tall x 2' wide, and we recommend spacing about 2' apart for mass planting (can be slightly less). This is a good plant to trim back foliage in early spring, after the last frost, to promote a burst of healthy new growth. Drought tolerant once established, this sages is also deer resistant. It requires well-draining soil, especially to take root, and is hardy to -20°F when protected from windchill.
