Barb Blankenship is another exceptional rhododendron hybrid from Jim Barlup. It has magnificent, large, rounded trusses of creamy white and magenta blooms. Each ruffled flower has a yellow hue emanating from its throat with a deep red pattern that provides additional character. Blooming usually begins in April and extends through May, depending on growing conditions. 

This special cultivar is rare, but we are proud to offer it at Rocky Knoll Farm. Barb Blankenship has a balanced growth habit that reaches around 6' tall x 6' wide at maturity. Plant in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
