Artemisia 'Silver Brocade'

$26

Prized for its unique silvery scalloped foliage, Artemisia Silver Brocade is a terrific choice for ground cover, coastal growing, edging, mass planting, rock gardens, container growing and hanging baskets. Small white blooms show in summer and are insignificant. Silver Brocade is also fantastic for a unique addition to floral arrangements and is mildly fragrant. We love this delightful herbaceous perennial, and so do butterflies!

Easy to grow, this artemisia is drought tolerant once established, these plants are both deer and rabbit resistant. Best to grow in full sun, at least six hours of direct sunlight if possible. They will grow to around 1' tall and spread to about 2' wide. For ground cover, place about 24" apart on center. These plants require well-draining soil, and prefer it to be more alkaline. They generally die back to a small crown in winter and begin to burst forth again in spring. Hardy to -35°F when protected from windchill.
