This rhododendron variety is well-adapted to various growing environments, and can be resilient in the sun. Anah Kruschke has a brighter green foliage that accentuates the incredible reddish-purple blooms. It will often bloom April to May, depending on the environmental conditions. 

Anah Kruschke is hardy to -15°F when protected against windchill. This is one of the most reliable and consistent rhododendrons out there. It can grow to 6' tall and 6' wide at maturity. The rounded trusses are pretty bountiful, and the overall plant growth habit is nice and full.
