Agastache 'Mango Tango' Hummingbird Mint

$26

The bright orange-peach blooms of Mango Tango against the dusky-magenta calyxes add an incredible dynamic to gardens and landscapes alike. Blooms show throughout summer and into fall, but the calyxes last well after the blooms have spent, making for an ongoing attraction and protracted character. Also known as Anise Hyssop, this special perennial is an excellent choice to bring vibrance to borders, beds, patio planters, rock gardens, floral and dried arrangements, and slopes.

It is aptly known as Hummingbird Mint, as it is very attractive to hummingbirds, as well as butterflies. Its green foliage is nicely aromatic all summer long, yet it is surprisingly resistant to both deer and rabbits. This plant is easy to grow, and you can remove spent blooms before they seed to prevent self-sowing, or leave them intact to attract birds to your garden or landscape.

Mango Tango requires well-draining soil and loves full sun. It is both heat and drought tolerant once established. It can grow as tall as 18" and about 16" wide. We recommend placing them about 18" apart. Cold hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill.
