This is a prolific hybrid rhododendron that can reach over 6' tall at maturity. You can see from our pictures how abundant the blooms and trusses are for this magnificent plant. It's easy to grow and has lovely mottled pink blossoms with an attractive burgundy-toned pattern on the upper dorsal.

One special characteristic is the difference in how the blooms look up close compared to at a distance. Mrs. G.W. Leak is hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill and blooms around April or May, depending growing conditions. It does well from partial shade to full sun.
