This great rhododendron has shiny dark green and felted foliage, and medium pink blossoms with accented red centers that make for a stunning addition to any garden. New foliage can have a lovely silver to bronze indumentum, which you can see in our photos. Blooms occur in April to May depending on growing conditions.

This cultivar will do best in partial shade to full sun. Chemainus grows to about 4' tall at maturity. It is hardy to 10°F when protected against windchill.
